Sour Diesel is a sativa dominant (10% indica/90% sativa) cannabis strain believed to have originated from a cross of Chemdawg 91 and either Northern Lights or Super Skunk. Its origins are a bit of a mystery though it is rumored to have been an accidental cross created in the early 90s by a New York grower known as A.J. or Asshole Joe. This legendary strain is known for its heady uplifting high and pungent gassy aroma with a hint of lemon that reminds you how it got its name. Sour Diesel is often used by medical patients to help with anxiety, depression, and chronic fatigue.
